Demelza Clay

reversing adult acne by way of the gut

Demelza shares her healing journey

Demelza Clay is a Nutritionist and has a BAppSci in Sports Science and is an ICF accredited coach specialising in health and leadership. She spent the first 20 years of her career as an elite alpine ski coach, heli ski guide and surf guide. Demelza has lived all over the world in the process. She decided to get into the health consulting and coaching space after having a breakthrough with her own health - a lifelong struggle with chronic acne that she finally found a solution for at around 40 years old, when she went plant based and focused on healing her gut. After the fad diets, skin treatment, doctors peddling snake oil promoting etc, the situation was affecting her mental health.

Resolving this problem has led to many other revelations for Demelza about health for women over 40, so given what she went through and her background in nutrition and health sciences she decided to become part of the solution. The program is focused on helping women out of the fad diet cycle to lose weight and balance their lifestyle. It is a nutritional re-education around WFPB eating and gut health, but it’s equally weighted with mindset processes and support to help people shift old habits and learn new ones. At present Demelza is online coaching for Big Picture Skiing.
