Meet the Owners – Karine & Edward Wright
Originally from Québec, Karine moved West in search of higher peaks and a healthier work and play balance. As an outdoor enthusiast, easy access to skiing, mountain biking, hiking and paddle boarding drew her towards the mountains. As a young entrepreneur and self-starter, she successfully built her own small business in the Marketing & Translations field. She has long had a passion for healthy cooking.
Similar to Karine, a passion for the mountains and outdoor recreation drew Edward from Edmonton to BC right after University. He has made a career in the cycling industry as the National Sales Director for a major bicycle parts and accessories distributor. From his experience working with independent bike shops, Edward brings a passion for small business and promotion of healthy lifestyle.
Living together in Whistler, they fell in love with what became their main food joint: The Green Moustache. When considering a relocation to Revelstoke, they felt only one thing was missing: a restaurant focusing on healthy, organic and plant-based offerings. Nurturing their combined passions, they decided that together they were going to bring The Green Moustache with them and share the benefits and healing properties of organic food with their new community.
