— Emily Abbott

People cannot relate to losing a child until it has happened to you. Emily does such a beautiful job of sharing her story, what she did, what helped her and what could help you. If you know anyone who has lost a child, share this podcast with them. Death is inevitable, it is one of the laws of nature, and we can move through death, or the lead up to death, with grace and empathy for the self and the individuals who are experiencing that loss. This is what Emily is doing through Who is Carter Foundation and The Brain Possible which Emily and her husband started and Emily runs now. Emily speaks of when she was at her lowest and how she can look back now and see the beauty of it all.

“You dont want to squash someone who is learning how to be an advocate, Your going to be an advocate for this little child for the rest of their life, who else is going to do it, not the doctor, dont squash that.”

- Emily Abbott
